Clinical Psychologist

Work through what keeps repeating, and move forward with clarity.

I work with people who feel caught in patterns that don’t fully make sense, despite insight or effort to change, and want a deeper understanding of themselves and lasting change. These patterns are approached as signals, something to be understood.

Many people come to therapy after trying to “push through” or manage symptoms on their own. Often, there’s a sense that something deeper is at play—patterns that repeat in mood, relationships, or life direction.

Our work focuses on slowing things down enough to understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and then using that awareness to create meaningful, sustainable change.

How I Think About Change

In my experience, meaningful change tends to follow a process:

  • Noticing the signal — emotional reactions, stress in the body, or recurring patterns

  • Bringing awareness to it — understanding what is happening internally

  • Making sense of it — developing a clearer narrative of your experience

  • Taking wise action — responding in ways that are more aligned and effective

This process is not linear. We move back and forth between these steps depending on what’s most useful in the moment.

Services

Individual Therapy

For individuals who feel caught in patterns, whether in mood, relationships, or direction, that don’t fully shift despite effort or insight.

Performance Coaching

This is often a better fit for individuals who want to improve how they think, decide, and operate in demanding environments.

Brief Personality Assessment

For individuals seeking a clearer understanding of their patterns, strengths, and areas of difficulty, especially when things feel complex, unclear, or not fully captured by previous treatment.

Dream Analysis and Life Integration

For individuals interested in exploring dreams as a way to better understand internal dynamics, recurring themes, and how unconscious material may be influencing current experience and direction.

Who I Work Well With

People who experience:

  • Anxiety that persists despite efforts to manage or control it

  • Burnout or loss of direction that doesn’t resolve with rest alone

  • Low mood that lingers despite insight or past treatment

  • Difficulty following through, even when you know what needs to be done

  • Overthinking that doesn’t lead to clarity or resolution

  • A constant baseline of pressure or tension that rarely turns off

  • Relationship patterns that repeat despite effort to change

  • A sense of being outwardly functional but internally out of alignment

I tend to work best with individuals who are ready to engage in a deeper level of reflection and change.
